Festival Mode et Design: 4-in-1 Outfit Post
Le Festival Mode et Design in Montreal was a great opportunity for everyone to show off their personal style. This annual event takes place every July and is held outdoors, which can only mean one thing – lots of street fashion snaps! I took advantage of this event by shooting stylish people in the street that caught my attention. You can view the entire Fashion and Design Festival street style album on the official SA page.
I’ve compiled the following photos of all four of my outfits worn during the festival!
Day 1 – Sweewë Paris Graphic Print Dress
Day 1 of the Fashion an Design Festival was a breeze for me when it came to dressing for the event. I’ve been wanting to show off this awesome graphic dress that I bought months ago from boutique Paris pas cher on Saint-Denis street. Thanks Edmond for this super cool image we took on site in front of a lit-up wall!
Day 2 – ZARA Jacquard Pattern Top
ZARA Jacquard Pattern Top | Vintage high-waisted linen shorts from Lost and Found Boutique | Black canvas peep-toe stilettos by Spring
You may recognize this one from my Best of ZARA Spring 2013 post which I published back when the Canadian online store first launched. I couldn’t help but obey my own editorial picks. This super structured Jacquard Pattern top helped me stand out from the crowd, and its colors get me excited for fall fashion! Susan is also repping ZARA in the black and white Plush T-shirt. Believe it or not, she picked this top out on her own without any influence from my blog post!
In the photo just above, I’m with amazing model (and dentist!) Vincent right before he gets ready for his runway show.
Day 3 – Sky-high Alice Wedges by Rudsak
It was this outfit that won me that beautiful Arven cluster necklace from Aldo Accessories! On day three I wore a ZARA structured white pressed print top, an emerald A-line skirt from H&M and the Alice studded wooden wedges in off-white from Rudsak. Ever since I laid eyes on these shoes on the runway for the spring 2013 collection, I knew I had to have them. These beauties were definitely the main attraction of my outfit that day.
Day 4: Decked Out in Designer Accessories from Remix Clothing
Day 4 of FMD was a special day, as I had the opportunity of walking the runway for the Montreal in Fashion event! The theme was black and white, and I turned to Remix clothing to ensure that I look my best on the catwalk. I was ecstatic to have my beautiful Céline leather bag in hand during the show.
White strapless bra by LaSenza | Hermes-inspired Golden Broch | Black wide leather belt by Philippe Dubuc | Black leather circle skirt by American Apparel | Gianni Versace Signature Gold Medusa Watch | Céline black leather handbag | Ain’t Laurent without Yves snapback
I hope to inspire you to dress up with these outfits! Thanks for reading, and I shall see you at the next Fashion and Design Festival.
