I have never been anywhere in Europe, which is why I put in an extra effort in my official entry for the Twin-Set Canada photo contest. Should I win, I’ll be taking part in a Twin-Set fashion show in Milan next season.
The challenge: To model a shirt from the new Twin-Set collection in a setting that displays “Italy in Montreal.” I decided to take those directions quite literally with this casual shot of me as I jaywalk Saint Laurent Boulevard in front of Fruiterie Milano in the heart of Little Italy. This is how Montrealers do it, so fine me if you can find me!
I am quite happy with the result of my photo thanks to a very special photographer, but I still need your help to keep me at the top. Kindly click the banner below to vote for my entry in the contest and fly me to Milan!
While I’m at it, why not throw in a couple of street photos? I confess that I haven’t been the best fashion blogger recently, but we can expect that my posting consistency will return along with those warm summer days us Canadians have been longing for. Below are a few shots taken in and around Parc Lafontaine.
What I’m wearing:
- Faux leather jacket from Le Chateau
- Thrifted orange and black net-graphic sweater
- A-line skirt from H&M
- Black tights by Jacob
- Gore-tex lined chunky-heel booties by Aquatalia
Like many girls these days, I have an unconditional love for crop tops. If you like the one I’m wearing above, it’s quite an easy DIY project. Simply grab a pair of scissors and chop off about 50% of the material (lol). The only challenge is finding a sweater with an interesting colour or graphic worth wearing. If it’s got no charm, don’t buy it, even if it’s only five bucks!
Should you ever so happen to take a minute of your time vote for me, please send me a line, because I definitely want to know!
Well…that’s a wrap on my blogging duties for now, I better get back to Walking Dead. I watched 10 consecutive episodes of this show in a row last night until 7:30 AM. Talk about letting go once exams are over.
